How it works
From office visit to your own keke.
Every rider follows the same steps, in the same order. Each one is recorded, and you can see where you are at any time.
- 01
Book an office appointment
Give your name and phone number and pick a time, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. You don't need an account. The office calls you to confirm, and you call the office to change or cancel.
Booking is not an application or an approval, and we don't text you anything yet.
- 02
Office check and application
Bring your original ID and driver's licence. Our staff check them and fill in your application with you: your details, your address and landmarks, two guarantors, union or reference details, and your consent. You get an application reference.
You don't choose a keke or a repayment plan when you apply.
- 03
Your account
At the visit we create your KekeVest account and text you a sign-in code. Signing in confirms your number, and from then on you can follow your application in your rider portal.
- 04
Field verification
Our operations team assigns a field agent to visit your address. The agent records what they find and submits a report.
The field agent gathers evidence. They don't make the decision.
- 05
Approval decision
A reviewer decides using the evidence from your application, the office check and the field visit. If you're not approved, you'll be told the reason.
Approval lets you see offers for 90 days. It doesn't reserve a keke or start a contract.
- 06
Choose an offer
Once approved, you see only the kekes and offers you're eligible for that are available now, with their full terms, so you can compare them before you choose.
Choosing an offer doesn't reserve the keke. Our operations team confirms it before a contract is prepared.
- 07
Contract
Your contract is explained to you in Igbo, Pidgin or English, and signed in person or through a legally reviewed signing method. We keep the exact version you sign, and its terms are the terms you selected.
- 08
Deposit
You pay your deposit into your own dedicated account number, created when you sign. The whole deposit counts towards the principal you've paid.
KekeVest staff never collect cash.
- 09
Onboarding
Before handover, a tracker is fitted and your rider portal is set up. You get a safety briefing and your weekly repayment schedule, and the keke's condition is recorded.
- 10
Repayments
You pay into the same account number. Sundays and public holidays are never due dates. Your portal shows your balance, every payment and the principal you've paid so far.
- 11
Ownership transfer
When you complete your contract, ownership of the keke transfers to you.

Rules we keep
Built to protect you
No cash, ever
Your deposit and repayments go into your own dedicated account number. KekeVest staff never collect cash.
Fair on missed days
We act on how much is overdue in total, not on a single missed day. Sundays, public holidays and approved hardship days are never due dates.
People make the decisions
Field agents gather evidence and reviewers decide. Nobody approves their own report, and serious steps like recovery need two administrators to approve.
You keep your equity
If a contract ends early, Fair-Exit means you keep the principal you've paid, less arrears and set deductions.
